Our 50' screen package is available through a partnership with Good Things event company and Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow. This is one of the largest screens available in Texas and includes a powerful 30k lumen projector.

Additional Services
Q&A Audio Package - (2) SM57 microphones, vocal monitors, lighting, and a microphone for questions from the audience for post or pre show conversations.
FM Transmitter - Allows cars to tune in to the movie audio. Required for Drive-ins.
Water Ballasts - When we are unable to secure the screens with stakes into the ground, we can provide 55 gallon water ballasts for an additional fee.
Travel Fee - For events outside Austin, we charge a travel fee based on mileage.
Popcorn Machine
Nothing says movie night like fresh and delicious popcorn! We can provide a professional grade popcorn machine, a 3' x 5' table, and enough corn, bags, and oil to serve 200 people for $200.
Yamaha DSR118 Subwoofers
For an even more impressive cinema listening experience, upgrade your audio system with subwoofers for a powerful low end. Recommended for all action films!
Ushers and MCs!
We work with a team of outstanding theater and dance performers that can direct traffic at a drive-in, serve popcorn, or host movie trivia and games before the film. Our ushers and MCs are courteous, professional, and dress super sharp! They've also been known to perform a Rocket Cinema dance routine on special occasions.
Rocket Cinema now offers projection packages at competitive rates for indoor events as well.
10' x 6', 12' x 9', and 20' x 20' fast fold screens are available with front and rear projection capabilities. Contact us for a quote on projection services for your next indoor event.
Justin Sherburn, Owner
Justin Sherburn is a professional musician and Texas native that has been producing events across the nation for over 20 years. His group Montopolis is a proud member of the Texas Commission on the Arts Touring Roster and a contractor for the City of Austin Cultural Arts Division.
In 2020, Sherburn created Rocket Cinema to support performing arts groups and non profit organizations during the Covid-19 pandemic. The outdoor movie screenings and live events have proven to be a popular and safe way for audiences to gather and celebrate in Austin, Houston, and venues throughout Texas. Justin is on site at every Rocket Cinema event and joined by his crew of experienced professionals.
