Answers to common questions are below, but please feel free to email us at contact@rocketcinematexas.com with specific questions about your event.
Our preferred start time for movies is civil twilight, or around 20 minutes after sunset. We can sometimes push this by a few minutes, but we cannot guarantee a good image until civil twilight. Find the earliest start time for your event date here.
We'll travel far and wide to screen a film, but we most often work in Central Texas. We have worked in Austin, Archer City, Bastrop, Buda, Cedar Park, College Station, Dripping Springs, Elgin, Fort Worth, Fredericksburg, Georgetown, Houston, Hutto, Killeen, Kyle, Lakeway, Lake Travis, Lago Vista, LaGrange, Leander, Oak Hill, Pflugerville, Temple, Taylor, Waco, and Westlake Hills.
Rocket Cinema has a very flexible weather policy. We want your entire event to be a success, not just our part of it. We will stay in close touch during the week leading up to your screening and do our best to advise you. At more than 48 hours before the event, you can reschedule due to weather at no additional charge. Within 48 hours of the event, you can reschedule due to weather for an administrative fee equal to 10% of the total contract amount. If there is a forecast of more than 30 mph winds, we can reschedule at no additional cost.
